About You-Yi

I'm working as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Scout, specifically for robot localization. I received my M.S. degree from UC San Diego in June 2020. Please refer to my thesis in the project section. I was a M.S. student in University of California San Diego (UCSD) since 2018 Fall, for M.S. program in ECE department. I was co-advised by Prof. Hao Su , and Prof. Manmohan Chandraker . My currently work is about deep learning in simultaneously localization and mapping (SLAM).

I graduated from EE department in National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2018. My research experience include odometry for AR system in Media IC & System Lab (Prof. Shao-Yi Chien) , pose tracking for AR in Media IC & System Lab (Po-Chen Wu) , and navigation for robots (Prof. Wei-Chao Chen).

In the summer of 2019, I worked as a research intern in Autodesk research - Pier 9 (San Francisco). I worked as research intern in Incentec AI center under Wei-Chao Chen in 2018, and as software engineer at Dell EMC in 2016. I aspire to apply my knowledge in the fields of education, health and environmental protection.
